This ebook constitutes the refereed court cases of the 2 workshops held on the 14th foreign convention on rules and perform of Multi-Agent platforms, PRIMA 2011, held in Wollongong, Australia, in November. The workshops have been, Workshop on Agent dependent Simulation for a Sustainable Society (ABSSS 2011) and foreign Workshop on Multi-Agent shrewdpermanent Computing (MASmart 2011). The eight papers provided have been rigorously reviewed and chosen from a number of submissions. The papers hide themes from agent established simulation for a sustainable society and on multi-agent clever computing.

34 2 J. Pfau, M. Kirley, and Y. Kashima Experiments by Lyons and Kashima In this section, we describe the experiments of Lyons and Kashima and briefly present their results. This information is essential for the specification of our model and for the estimation of its parameters. Lyons and Kashima try to answer the question how actual sharedness and perceived sharedness of stereotypes is conducive to an SC bias—a preference for communicating SC information. Lyons and Kashima rely on an experimental paradigm known as the serial reproduction chain to study the communication of stereotype-relevant information [1].

Then the (SC, SI) tuple is provided as a target for the last few intervals. Finally, weights are updated subject to recorded errors. 5 Parameter Estimation In this section, we describe the parameter estimation of the model using the data of Lyons and Kashima. We describe how our model is set up to reflect their experimental conditions. Then we provide the details of an evolutionary algorithm used to find parameter values for our model that yield simulations with an outcome close to the empirical data.

Second, the energy reduction of the societies are higher in the dynamic set-up than the static set-up. Even though the energy reduction is much higher in the dynamic set-up, the amount of time taken for the reduction is high (303 months which is about 25 years for the similarity model). Waiting 25 years for a norm to converge may not be quite reasonable particularly considering faster preventive measures that we would like to undertake in order to avoid greenhouse gas emissions from energy production.
